A neighbor who became a hero
I grew up in Hampton Roads, and this community has always felt like home. Over the years, I watched neighbors struggle with tasks that felt small on the surface — a grocery run, a ride to the doctor, someone to check in on Mom — but meant everything to the people who needed them.
I started Heather's Helping Heroes because I wanted to be that person for more families. Not a faceless service, but a real neighbor — someone you can call, trust, and count on. Someone who genuinely cares about how your day is going.
Today, our small team of helpers serves families, seniors, and individuals across Hampton Roads. Every person we work with gets the same thing: warmth, reliability, and a whole lot of heart.
